About The THSBOP
About THSBOP:
The THSBOP exists for the purpose of providing the Thornton High School band and orchestra curriculum with much needed funds which enables the directors to continue to offer a superior music education to all our students.
Membership:
All parents or guardians of students enrolled in a Thornton High School Instrumental Music class are automatic members of the THSBOP. The THSBOP does not require a membership fee, however; we do need parent and student involvement which enables the organization to meet its goals and commitment to the Thornton High School Instrumental Music Program.
Meetings:
THSBOP Meetings are held on the first monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Thornton High School Little Theatre. The Thornton High School Instrumental Music Directors and School Administration are very supportive to the THSBOP and often attend monthly meetings. The THSBOP Officers strongly encourage parents to attend these monthly meetings. The meetings are used as our forum to not only discuss the THSBOP state of affairs but also to solicit input from parents/guardians to make THSBOP a better parent organization.
